I studied painting and it taught me to precisely think about form and colour. I paint abstracts and this is certainly one of my greatest passions. But other techniques and various materials are also fascinating. I like to know how things are made. I always loved watching the construction of large engineering objects like bridges, viaducts, steel or concrete structures.
This is why I have also learned locksmithing, metal casting and foundry processes, welding, carpentry, carving, etc. Nowadays, I combine various techniques and materials with ease.
For me, it is the joy of a constant search for harmony and the pursuit of perfection, starting with the vision of the project, through the whole process of creation, right to the end result. I can create an object from beginning to end. No one can tell me that it can’t be done!
In my opinion, the designed object has to be functional, technically well made from good materials and must have something more ... an artistic element, a unique character given to it by the author..."
